Johnstones Paints is one of many brands (also including Leyland, Mangers, Johnstones No Ordinary Paint and Woodworks) manufactured by Sigma Kalon UK and Ireland, a subsidiary of the Sigma Kalon Group – and a worldwide leader in decorative, marine, protective and industrial paints.
Majestic’s relationship with Sigma Kalon was established in 2000, and during this time we have successfully completed a number of projects including the development of numerous brand websites, online paint specifier system, online ordering system, central user login and management system, website analytics and online consultancy.
In 2006, Sigma Kalon sought to re-launch the Johnstones Paints website in order to align the site with a recent re-branding exercise and contacted Majestic to design and develop a solution. Additional requirements were that the newly developed site should provide feature rich content in order to encourage customer loyalty and product purchases, and to improve SEO and brand awareness.
Majestic completed the project in June 2006, supplying a sleek, contemporary design in-keeping with the re-branding with site features including an integrated paint specifier system, store finder and full product catalogue.
The site has been well received with visitor numbers increasing steadily since launch, and further site additions being planned for the next quarter. We are extremely proud of our long standing relationship with the Sigma Kalon Group, and look forward to completing a number of other exciting development projects over the coming months.
